The Rhumb Line is a finely tuned and crafted pop album, with some very impressive hooks on there. It’s almost impossible for me to not sing along to most of the songs on it. At its best, The Orchard is everything The Rhumb Line is. At its worst, The Orchard is a bit too loose and cheap. I certainly don’t like it as much as I used to.
